· Positive Teacher-Child Interaction

This rating encompasses the overall positive quality of the teacher's verbal and non-verbal (physical) interactions a student throughout the day. Positive interactions are characterized by a general sense that the teacher enjoys and is interested in the child, treats him with respect and acceptance, and is available as a warm, caring adult for the child when he is upset or frustrated.
